Our Story

On May 1st, 2020, our family received the most earth shatering phone call, my nephew at 8 years had taken his own life. Immediatley, the rush of emotion, confusion, utter shock and disbelief took over our house. Scrambling to find clear answers through the chaos seemed impossible. We were later notified that all the signs were expressed of severe depression and suicidal thoughts to immediate family and counselors, but no action was taken. This fact shook me to my core. I knew there had to be a better way for families/individuals to find help before, during, and after a traumatic event. Out of this mission, the CC Foundation was created. Having a situation occur so close to home prompted me to become better equipped to help others in times of trauma. As a certified Mental Heath Coach through the American Association of Christian Counselors, with specialties in Family/Parent training, Developing Mental Health Ministries, Suicide Prevention, and Panic Disorders, I look forward to helping families find community and resources in the midst of difficult situations. - Kimberly DeLorge (Founder)
Mission -
To bridge the gap of mental healthcare through partnering with trusted community resources for sound mental, emotional, and spiritual growth.
Vision -
REBUILD - (Neh 4, 1 Kings 18:30, 1 Peter 2:5) - Partnering with training and life classes for families/individuals. RENEW - (2 Cor. 5:17, Rom. 12:2, Isa. 40:31) - Partnering with counseling centers, therapists, and medical facilities based on individual/family needs. RESTORE - (Psa. 34:18, Psa. 51:12, Rev. 21:4) - Partnering with churches, Bible studies, outreach organizations, and next steps.
